Il a re\u00e7u ce nom car il convient aux applications \u00e0 plusieurs couches.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la translucidit\u00e9 du zirconium, le tissu dentaire d&rsquo;origine peut \u00eatre compl\u00e8tement captur\u00e9 et la correspondance gingivale est beaucoup plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e qu&rsquo;avec la porcelaine \u00e0 base de m\u00e9tal classique.<\/p>\n<p>Le zirconium \u00e0 plusieurs couches (CAD\/CAM) est pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 car il n&rsquo;a aucun effet allergique. Cela permet de ne pas \u00eatre affect\u00e9 par les variations au niveau d&rsquo;isolation thermique.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa forte r\u00e9sistance, il est certainement pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 dans la zone des dents du fond.
